Paris is filled with delectable desserts and bread. One day, as my friend and I were on our way to the Catacombs, we stumbled upon a small bakery. We took a look inside - the aroma of freshly baked bread was heavenly. My friend bought a croissant, while I decided to get a twisted pastry with chocolate chips, shown to the left. As we ate our bread, we both agreed that baked goods in France are much better than those of America. The pastries were softer and more flavorful - and of course, it helped that the bread was still warm from the oven. The particular pastry that I bought was flaky on the outside but soft on the inside, and the chocolate chips, buried throughout the layers of bread, was melted to perfection.
